Little Mombo nestles under a canopy of large jackalberry and sausage trees sited in the Okavango Delta’s renowned Moremi Game Reserve.
‘Regular and rare’ describes the unique, spectacular game viewing at Little Mombo.
The Mombo wildlife area is known as the “Place of Plenty”, highlighted by the massive concentrations of plains game and predators that live here. These include all the big cats, of which lion sightings are frequent. Leopard, spotted hyaena, large herds of buffalo, elephant, giraffe, blue wildebeest, Burchell's zebra and more abound, while cheetah and wild dog are being seen more regularly in the area.

The tented suites are elevated to make the most of the wildlife-swathed views of the plains, which are best enjoyed from the spacious outdoor terrace or your private plunge pool.
The sizeable spaces are comprised on a separate cosy club-like lounge, a bedroom with a four-poster bed, and an indulgent open-plan wardrobe and bathroom with a separate shower and a deep soaking copper bathtub.
Guests can see out onto the savannah from every spot in the tent: even the mirrors in the bathrooms reflect the outside, so you can see giraffes and zebras while blow-drying your hair. The small salons with full bar carts and leather sofas are a lot of fun, but nothing beats the plunge pools on the terraces, so close to the savannah that elephants at times mistake them for drinking holes.

Daytime and early evening game drives only in open 4x4 Land Cruisers. Accommodating four guests per vehicle means they have a more exclusive experience and dedicated time with their passionate guide.

A pair of Olympus binoculars is available in each of the game drive vehicles for guests to share amongst themselves whilst game viewing and may be requested from our guides.
