The Roode’s, both 9th generation Africans, have a depth of knowledge that comes from being born on this exceptional continent and growing up exploring her wild places. They live and breathe Africa and have a deep-rooted passion for its people, and its wildlife. This passion has allowed them to create safaris that transcend the norm.

From the moment our guest touch down in Africa, all meals and drinks (soft drinks, water, local beers and wine) are included.
Flying with Lost & Found
The founders of Lost & Found, are both world renowned aviators and aerial photographers. Jan is a pilot and Jay is the only female aerial photographer in Africa, with numerous awards for her stunning photography. Her work has graced the pages of National Geographic and numerous other internationally acclaimed magazines.
As such we provide unparalleled access to any aviation requirement our guests have. No-one can match us when it comes to the Skies of Africa. From Internal charter flights to private helicopter scenic flights landing in the middle of nowhere for a picnic, to your own private hot-air balloon trip, you name it, we can make it happen in the air.
All our aviation partners are carefully vetted to ensure only the best safety and comfort. We arrange for all Lost & Found flights to take off and land at excellent bush airstrips, close to our lodges, eliminating the tedium of airport check-ins and arrivals, luggage transfers and delays. We simply drive to the steps of our waiting aircraft and climb on board.
